Rogers OMNI.2 Celebrates Chinese Year of the Rat With Special Cantonese and Mandarin Language Programming Starting New Years Eve: February 6th
TORONTO (January 31, 2008) – Tune to Rogers OMNI.2 for special Chinese New Year programming -- in Cantonese and Mandarin -- and celebrate the Year of Rat locally and internationally, starting on New Years Eve, Wednesday, February 6th.
From the 6th through Friday, February 8th, OMNI News: Mandarin Edition and OMNI News: Cantonese Edition will each feature a Chinese New Year segment targeted to their respective language audiences. OMNI News: Mandarin Edition airs weekdays at 5:00 p.m. ET and OMNI News: Cantonese Edition runs weeknights at 9:00 p.m. ET.
Both newscasts offer an encore presentation the following day in addition to their being posted online at www.omnitv.ca shortly after broadcast.
