I am not really a Television Host, I just play one on TV.
I was born in Taiwan but grew up in Nova Scotia in both Halifax and a little place called Beaver Bank.
It’s OK, you can make fun of the name.
Being from the East Coast, I don’t know how to fish, but I CAN crack a lobster like nobody’s biznezz!
With my shellfish skills, I moved to Toronto to attend Ryerson University and before coming to OMNI I worked at Treehouse TV, YTV, TVOntario and did other freelance gigs in production and as a writer.
The fun thing about writing for kids is that you can use words like “yucky”, “stinky” and “gross”, and you can use them a lot.
I’m a pop culture freakazoid and obsessed with celeb gossip. I am a good source of Hollywood info, but a bad source for everything else. Especially info relating to numbers or countries with more than two syllables.
My brother is a Mountie. When the brother you used to beat up as a child is now legally carrying a gun, you kind of wish you hadn't been so petty about stealing his He-Man action figures.
I love shoes, bags, and chocolate. And not always in that order.
When I was in elementary school I was in the ukulele club and the skipping club.
I am still a good skipper and a horrible ukulele player.
I have two distinct talents: I can burp on command and wiggle my ears.
Neither of these got me my job.
