In mid April of 2007 I had Congoleum Vinyl (Pacesetter) flooring installed in my kitchen. In May I noticed that all of the seams were starting to separate. After quite a wait, the supplier finally sent his installer to repair the seams. He said that the floor had shrunk. The repairs were done, but some did not work...they are still separating; it almost seems worse than before. I am still waiting for him to call me back on a solution. I have been trying to gather as much information as possible so I have the knowledge to help solve this problem.

Some say it is the installer's fault. It is a very visible place to have the seams inferior. Can you give me any suggestions on the steps I should take to help solve this problem. Does flooring really shrink like this?I am in the process of trying to reach Congoleum itself. I know that no one is going to want to take responsibity, and I really do not want to have to take legal action. I appreciate any solutions you can offer. Thanking you in advance.
