Ingredients
- Portuguese Sausage (Chouriço)
An Assador de Barro is a special Portuguese clay BBQ dish. On which you BBQ Chouriço. (Portuguese Sausage)
We got ours at Salsicharia Pavao Delicatessen, ($13 + tax) 1435 Dundas St. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) 416-533-7667
Liquor: We used Paraiso, a Portuguese Brandy available at the L.C.B.O ($21)
Preparation
- Pour Paraiso into bottom of clay dish.
- Place Chouriço (sausage) on dish.
- Light the Paraiso.
- BBQ Chouriço (sausage) for a few minutes on each side.
Slice and serve with fresh cow cheese, black olives, corn bread and a glass of white wine.
