Ingredients
- 1 oz Olive Oil
- 1 oz Milk
- 1/3 cup Flour
- 1 slab Kefalotiri ¼ inch thick (can be found at Highland Farms)
- 1oz Cognac
- 2 Lemon wedges
- Greek Pita Bread
Preparation
- Dip both sides of Kefalotiri cheese slab in milk, and then dip in flour.
- Add oil to frying pan. Turn heat to medium/high.
- Fry cheese (turning over once) until soft to the touch and golden brown on both sides.
- Add cognac and light (keep pan low and away from your face).
- Squeeze lemon wedge on to flaming pan.
- Wait until flames have evaporated.
Serve with toasted Greek Pita pieces
