Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup flour
- 7 egg yolks
- ½ cup sour cream
- Crisco oil for deep frying
Preparation
- Add egg yolks and sour cream to flour to make dough.
- Cut into strips ( 1 ½ inches wide x 4 or 5 inches long)
- Cut button hole in one end. (Approx. 1 inch long)
- Take one end and put through button hole then pull.
- Place in hot oil. Turn once.
- Favorki will be golden brown when finished.
- Drain on a paper towel.
- Dust with icing sugar.
**Please note. Keep constant watch on cooking time. Should take less than :30 seconds in total. Favorki easily burn.
