CHINESE NOODLES WITH SHRIMPS AND VEGGIES
- 1 Package of Chinese Noodles
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 36 to 42 large raw shrimps
- 5 mushrooms sliced
- 1 orange bell pepper sliced
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 green pepper sliced
- 1/4 cup Chinese cooking wine
- 1/8 cup chicken stock
- 1 tsp flour
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- Salt
- Parsley salt
Cook the noodles in a large pot of water according to package instructions. When they are ready, drain and set aside.
In a large pan add 1 tbsp of olive oil and 1 tbsp of butter. Once the butter has melted, add the mushrooms & bell peppers. Stir fry for a couple of minutes then add the cooking wine, parsley salt & salt to taste. Cook for another couple of minutes. Add the chicken stock and the flour; mix well and cook for a few minutes more until the sauce thickens a bit. Set aside.
In another frying pan add the remaining oil and butter. Once the butter has melted, add the shrimps and fry for a few minutes. Add the soy and oyster sauces and cook until the shrimps are well done.
Serve the noodles in a large plate and add some of the veggies and the shrimps on top of it. Serve with a quick salad made of lettuce, slices of tomato, broccoli florets and red cabbage leaves. Serve and enjoy! Smacznego!
