My Grandmother - Anita Aloisio Anita Aloisio was born in Montreal to Italian parents. Since graduating in Communications from Montreal's Concordia University in 1993, she has worked in film and television, both in Montreal and in Italy. In 1999, Anita joined Whalley Abbey Media, working on the production of Her Money and Debbie Travis' Painted House. In 2002 she wrote, produced and directed Straniera Come Donna, a film about Canadian born women of Italian origin. She then formed her own production company, Baltalya Betulla Productions, and persued projects that reflect our multi cultural reality. Anita, who speaks fluent French, English and Italian, is currently co-host of an Italian radio morning show as well as co-anchor of an arts and entertainment telelvision show called Arte Mondo on CH.
