Chantal, embarrassed to be turned down by Andreas, fights a hangover from the night before. Andreas tries to pitch Maya as the perfect employee for Chantal and is shot down. Chantal is no mood to be entertaining suggestions from Andreas. Greg tells his story to Phoenix about how he knows Sophie, saying that Sophie cheated on him more than once, and then left him; Phoenix feel sorry for him. Sophie tells her side to Quincy, saying that Greg was very abusive and hit her. Sophie left while pregnant with Sam, not telling Greg she was pregnant. She reveals her ultimate fear is that Greg will find out about Sam and take him away from her. That evening, Greg breaks Sophie's sewing machine.
