At Bang!, Maya throws her "Take Back the Night" party and it is a huge success. T.K. teaches self-defense classes to the women, while women body builders' act as bodyguards, walking the women to their cars. At the party, Quincy's ex-girlfriend Katrina shows up, and tries to rekindle their relationship asking for a singing gig at the club. Quincy is very uncomfortable by this visit and the emotions it dredges up. Jay runs into Dave'll Do (A guy Raj had a one night stand with) and gives him his number. Later, when Dave'll Do tries to pick up Raj, Raj tells him he's not single, not knowing that Jay gave Dave his number. On the dance floor, Maya and Jovi feel a connection. Maya later tells Jordan that she is done with men forever and asks Jay if he chose to be gay or was just born gay. He tells her he doesn't think you can just choose to be gay. Maya considers her feelings for Jovi as being more than a friend, and lets Jovi know she has feelings for her. The two kiss.
